The Process
We want to make getting involved as easy as possible. Here's exactly what you can expect after you send a message.
Every inquiry is personally read. You're not getting an automated response — a real person will reply to you, usually within 1–2 business days.
Whether you're planning a group trip, asking about volunteering, or just curious — we'll have a real conversation to figure out how you fit in.
We'll help coordinate timing around events and retreats, answer logistical questions, and make sure your visit to Jacó is everything it should be.
Common Questions
Not at all. We have complete beginners show up every week and leave having had the time of their lives. All you need to bring is a willingness to try.
We've hosted everything from couples to church groups of 30+. There's no maximum — we'll work with whatever size makes sense for your situation.
Absolutely. Families with kids of all ages are welcome. The surf, the culture, and the mission are genuinely transformative for young people especially.
The surf and the ministry are active year-round. We recommend timing your visit around one of our quarterly discipleship retreats for the fullest experience.
The ministry sessions themselves are free. You'll handle your own travel and accommodation in Jacó, which we're happy to help you plan.
Yes — and it's one of the best parts. Visiting groups often join us in community outreach, retreat support, and mentoring alongside the local team.
